I HAVE HEARD FROM THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE FOR THE YEAR 2007-2008:

Ronald Polanowski, MM1, 65-67, sent me a letter telling me that his wife had passed away after having both legs amputated because of diabetes.  He hopes to attend the 2008 Reunion in Indianapolis.

I had told you earlier about Carl Heislop's wife being ill with cancer, I am sorry to inform you that I received word yesterday that she had passed away.  I'm sure Carl would like to hear from any of you.  His address is:  P.O. Box 75, Pall Mall, Tn., 38577-0075.

I received a notice from William & Irene Couch that they will be moving on February 19, 2008, to 211 Willow Valley Manor B-106, Lancaster, Pa. 17602.

I talked with Calvin Schwarz, SK3, 52-54, and he said his eye problem has completely healed without any side effects.  This is really great news and we wish he and Lorraine a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Officers and Board of Directors wish the Crew and their families a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It is with regret that I announce that I have received word of the death of Joe Garris, PHAN/51-54, who died on 11/27/07, of lung cancer.  I'm sure Joe's widow would appreciate hearing from his shipmates.

Received word that Roger Spinks, SM2/61-65, died.  Do not know what happened.  His family would like to hear from his friends.
